Appointment of Chief Executive Officer
Sustainability Victoria is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Genever as Chief Executive Officer.
Since being appointed Interim CEO in February 2022, Matt Genever has led the organisation exceptionally well during a period of significant delivery expectations at SV.
He has demonstrated his ongoing commitment to delivering the sustainability agenda for the Victorian Government over this time and has shown his vision for SV by leading the development of SV’s strategic 3-year plan. His continued focus on building an organisation that is forward-thinking, courageous, and with a constructive culture will set SV up for ongoing success.
Matt is an environmental sustainability professional with more than ten years experience with Sustainability Victoria, and more than 20 years experience across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors with a particular focus on delivering a best practice waste and recycling sector that brings true circularity to our material usage.
