Market Accelerator Fund – Funded projects
The Market Accelerator Fund supports organisations to engage professional advisory services to build capability, validate, and commercialise products and processes using Australian recycled materials.
The funded projects will support Victorian organisations to:
- validate and commercialise their products and processes using recycled materials
- enhance business capabilities to access new markets
- increase the value and demand for recycled materials
- strengthen Victoria's circular economy.
Projects include:
- delivering Life Cycle Assessments and Environmental Product Declarations
- developing business cases, marketing strategies and promotional materials
- achieving product certifications.

This project will deliver financial modelling and a Life Cycle Assessment for 6T1’s vertically integrated textile recycling and remanufacturing system that will transform post-consumer clothing into new apparel, blending recycled fibres with Australian cotton. The project will deliver a Life Cycle Assessment and business case to establish a commercial facility in Victoria.

Armstrong Flooring
This project will deliver a marketing and commercialisation strategy and validate the environmental sustainability of Armstrong Flooring's Innova product, which turns PVC flooring waste back into new flooring products.

Brainwave Bikes
This project will develop a business case for recycling, refurbishing, and retailing e-bikes in Melbourne, addressing e-waste challenges, and waste reduction.

Cirque du Soil
This project will develop a business case, market strategy and compliance roadmap to scale Cirque du Soil’s organics recycling solution that turns food waste into high-value fertiliser.

DiaperRecycle
This project will deliver branding, packaging and marketing strategies to support commercialisation of DiaperRecycle’s sustainable cat litter product, which utilises material from recycled absorbent hygiene products (such as nappies).

Gaia Envirotech
This project will deliver detailed market analysis, a market engagement plan and communication collateral to support market growth for recycled organics products in western Victoria.

The Good Sort
This project will achieve Australian Standard compostability certification for 100% recycled, Victorian-made paper kitchen caddy liners, to boost boosting council and household confidence in organics recycling.

Green Collect
This project will deliver a commercialisation and business-to-business marketing strategy for social enterprise Green Collect's unique circular notebooks. These notebooks are made from repurposing surplus lever arch folders, office paper and waste plastics.

Laminex
This project will deliver a business case for Laminex to convert its waste material into biochar for potential incorporation into composite building materials.

Ludis
This project will deliver a Life Cycle Assessment for high quality shoe soles made from recycled tennis balls, validating environmental claims, supporting brand partnerships, and scaling circular innovation in footwear.

Outwest Concrete
This project will develop a Life Cycle Assessment and Environmental Product Declaration for low-carbon, recycled-content concrete mixes that incorporate reclaimed sands, recycled aggregates, and plastic fibres.

Paintback
This project will support Paintback to identify potential markets for its recycled paint products – Greyscale Paint, Tinted Paint and Undercoat – and address barriers to national adoption of the product by defining the product value and developing key messaging for target markets.

Porous Lane
This project will deliver a Life Cycle Assessment and Environmental Product Declaration for Porous Lane’s recycled tyre permeable kerb and channel system, quantifying environmental performance of the product.

Reground
This project will build a business case to scale Reground’s new recycling system that recovers and remanufactures waste bin wheels which would otherwise go to landfill.

Robovoid
This project will validate the commercial opportunity of Robovoid’s recycled plastic Circular Bed products and deliver an actionable roadmap to demonstrate the product value to the bedding industry.

Think Manufacturing
This project will deliver Life Cycle Assessments for three recycled PVC products, producing certification-ready reports and fact sheets to support market adoption growth and validate sustainability claims.

Zero Plastics Australia
This project will support product certification and commercialisation of recycled-plastic children’s products, supporting entry into new markets and expansion of the product range.
