Sustainability Victoria has created a social media presence on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) for information purposes only. Comments that are disrespectful, offensive, hateful, irrelevant, obscene or make another person feel unsafe will not be tolerated. Comments and discussion should be respectful and courteous. We reserve the right to remove or report posts, comments, or links that we consider to be:

  • discriminatory, defamatory, false or misleading, racist, off-topic, inflammatory, repetitive, offensive or otherwise inappropriate
  • disrespectful toward another person
  • making another person feel unsafe
  • commercial content, advertisements or spam
  • campaigning for a product, service, cause or initiative
  • infringement of the privacy, intellectual property or legal rights of others
  • any other material we consider to be inappropriate.

We reserve the right to block a user whose posts or comments include any of the above.

The views, opinions, and information expressed in user-generated comments remain with the authors and do not necessarily reflect those of SV or our officers and employees.

We encourage users to refer to the Facebook Community Standards, X Hateful Conduct Policy, Instagram Community Guidelines and LinkedIn Professional Community Policies for further guidance on respectful interactions. We also refer users to our website Disclaimer.
