Buy Recycled is a free service for Victorian councils to encourage their procurement teams to use more recycled materials and products in infrastructure, landscaping, parks and garden projects.

How it works
The Buy Recycled Directory has more than 100 approved suppliers who manage their own product and category entries. There are 70 councils that use the directory, where they can find full specifications for materials to consider, including the percentage of post-consumer and pre-consumer content in those products.
Participating councils can also access the Buy Recycled Service which provides councils with all the tools their need to deliver Sustainable Procurement in their purchasing departments. The program is also supported and guided in its delivery by its 27 Council Champions, who act as conduits to further refine the service whilst also acting as agents of change in the Councils and regions where they work.
