The maps show the location of over 500 major infrastructure facilities associated with Victoria's waste and resource recovery system, based on 2012 data.

The maps include the locations of transfer stations, resource recovery centres, material recovery facilities, wastewater treatment plants, major reprocessors and licensed and unlicensed landfills. There are seven statewide maps, as well as an individual map of each of the seven waste and resource recovery regions.
