‘Buy Circular’ Local Government Champions Program
We are thrilled to be working with 33 Buy Circular Champions from 24 Victorian Councils in 2025–26.
This is the third year of the capability building program. Through it, we support local government leaders to embed sustainable and circular procurement practices as business as usual. It also provides opportunities to build capacity, influence, network and share successes within their own council and beyond.
The program offers:
- capability building to influence circularity in council projects
- collaboration with peers: online and in-person
- designing projects to support your council
- professional development
- networking and knowledge-sharing events
- monthly Sustainability Victoria Office Hub residency.
Please note: Recruitment for the Buy Circular Champions program is currently closed. However, our Buy Circular Service offers support to councils more broadly.
