Love Food Hate Waste Business Program Delivery Partner - Participation Terms & Conditions

Below are the Terms and Conditions for participation in the Love Food Hate Waste Business Program with the assistance of Sustainability Victoria’s (SV) Delivery Partner (Delivery Partner Program) as at 11 March 2021.

SV will provide the Delivery Partner Program until 30 June 2021.

1. Terms and Conditions

1.1 These terms and conditions (Terms) apply to any business (Participant) who joins the Delivery Partner Program through the sign-up form provided by our delivery partner, Reground Pty Ltd (Delivery Partner). By joining the Delivery Partner Program, Participants agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. About the Delivery Partner Program

2.1 The objective of the Delivery Partner Program is to help Victorian food service businesses identify and measure food waste in their business and implement changes to reduce their business’ food waste.

2.2 The Delivery Partner will provide businesses with support and expert advice to complete the Program. This may be done in-person or via calls and emails. The Delivery Partner Program is available until 30 June 2021.

2.3 The Delivery Partner Program is delivered by SV free of charge.

3. Who can participate in the Delivery Partner Program?

3.1 Any food service business operating in Victoria may participate in the Delivery Partner Program.

3.2 Participants will be eligible to participate in the Delivery Partner Program if:

i. they are a food service business with one of the following ANZSIC codes: 4400, 4511, 4512, 4513, 4520, 4530, 8729;

ii. they operate in metropolitan Melbourne or Geelong;

iii. they are approached by Sustainability Victoria or a Delivery Partner; and

iv. the Delivery Partner in their area has not exhausted their allocated capacity to provide assistance.

3.3 Participants will may participate in the Delivery Partner Program based on the above criteria and on a first-in-first-served basis.

3.4 All Participants must agree to comply with these Terms and, subject to section 5.3 below, any specific terms of the Delivery Partner that might apply to the Participant’s use of the Delivery Partner’s proprietary materials or software applications.

4. Communication with Participants

4.1 Participants who join the Delivery Partner Program will receive emails and correspondence from the Delivery Partner to assist them in completing the Program.

4.2 All Participants will be requested to provide information to SV and the Delivery Partner through surveys and other data collection methods. This information will be used to assess the effectiveness of the Delivery Partner Program. No identifying information collected from Participants will be published without the express permission of the Participant. SV may publish and report aggregated and deidentified information. SV may share your information with the Delivery Partner for the purposes of delivering the Delivery Partner Program.

4.3 After completing the Program, Participants will receive a digital Completion Certificate after submitting the survey at the completion of the Program. SV and the Delivery Partner reserve the right to choose whether to supply a Completion Certificate to any Participant.

5. General Rules for Participation

5.1 SV reserves the right to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Delivery Partner Program at any time and for any reason.

5.2 You agree to use the SV materials provided for the purposes of the Program.

5.3 Participants may but are not obliged to use the Delivery Partner’s proprietary materials or software applications for the purposes of completing the Delivery Partner Program.

5.4 Participants must not use the Love Food Hate Waste, Sustainability Victoria or Victorian Government logos without receiving prior and express written permission from Sustainability Victoria.

6. Privacy

6.1 Any personal information provided by Participants in connection with the Delivery Partner Program, including Participant name, age, image or contact details will only be used by SV or our authorised third party providers including the Delivery Partner in connection with the Delivery Partner Program and only in accordance with SV’s Privacy policy.

6.2 Any personal information collected by the Delivery Partner through its proprietary materials or software applications is managed by the Delivery Partner in accordance with its relevant terms and conditions and privacy statements.

7. Disclaimer

7.1 SV deliver this Delivery Partner Program in good faith, exercising all due care and attention. Any actions taken, decisions or changes made by Participants as a result of participation in the Program are the responsibility of the Participant. SV is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever or for any personal injury suffered or sustained, including as a result of negligence, in connection with the conduct of the Delivery Partner Program.

7.2 The potential yearly savings included in the Delivery Partner Program materials are general figures only based on the information available to SV at the date of design of this Program and are an estimate only that does not consider your specific circumstances.

7.3 No warranty or representation is made about the accuracy, completeness or suitability of the information provided in the Delivery Partner Program materials for any particular purpose. SV and its authorised third party providers, including the Delivery Partner, disclaim liability for any act or omission made in reliance on the information provided throughout the Program and any consequences of any such act or omission. You should seek appropriate advice when applying the information to your specific needs.

7.4 SV may amend these Terms at any time.
