Leftover bolognese pizza

¾ cup of bolognese sauce
1 pizza base (or make your own)
5 cherry tomatoes, quartered
150g mozzarella cheese, sliced
4 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
fresh basil leaves


  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. Lay pizza base out on a large round tray or pizza stone (preheat pizza stone if you're using one).
  3. Spoon over bolognese sauce, top with cherry tomatoes and cheeses.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes or until bubbling and golden. Garnish with fresh basil and serve.

Tip: Top with additional fresh rocket for some extra greens.

Variations: To up the vegetable content, spread thinly sliced mushrooms, onion, zucchini or capsicum over the bolognese sauce.


Store extra slices in an airtight container in the fridge and heat up for lunch tomorrow.
