Circular Economy Infrastructure Fund - Hazardous Waste Round 4

Total funding available: Grants of up to $20,000 ex GST for infrastructure projects
Co-contribution: No co-contribution is required for this fund.
Available to: Charities, Local government, Alpine resort management boards
Sustainability Victoria is supporting local councils and charities to install new, or upgrade existing, battery drop off points and to promote those locations through Circular Economy Infrastructure Fund.

Victorian Circular Economy Recycling Modernisation Fund (Round 5)

Total funding available: Each project can receive a grant between $250,000 and $1,000,000.
Co-contribution: $1:$1 (SV:Applicant). Co-contributions must be for eligible activities. In-kind contributions are not permitted in this Fund.

Community Electrification Engagement Program Fund

The Community Electrification Engagement Program Fund supports community energy groups to deliver an engagement program to promote electrification to households within a targeted geographic area.
Asbestos Disposal Point Grants
Status: Applications closed

Total funding available: Grants of up to $80,000 are available per project
The Asbestos Disposal Points (ADP) Grants program will fund local government or industry to establish Asbestos Disposal Points that will increase access to waste facilities that support the safe disposal of non-friable (also known as bonded) asbestos waste.
Large Energy User Electrification Support Program
Status: Applications closed
Closing date: Tuesday 20 August 2024, 11:59 pm
Total funding available: Grants of $14,000 to $60,000 (or $66,000 if regional) ex GST are available per Project.
Co-contribution: Applicants are not required to provide a financial Co-contribution. Applicants must provide in-kind support to the selected Approved Supplier.

The Program will provide funding for approved specialists to complete electrification feasibility assessments for eligible Victorian commercial and industrial business facilities considered large energy users.
Circular Economy Organics Council Fund

The Circular Economy Organics Councils Fund (the Fund) aims to support Local Governments and the Alpine Resorts Victoria Board to increase their use of recycled kerbside organic products in council and community settings, to build sustainable end markets and transition to a circular economy.

Recycling Modernisation Fund Plastics Technology Stream
Status: Applications closed
Closing date: Monday 4 September 2023, 11:59 pm
Total funding available: Eligible applicants may apply for a minimum grant of $1 million and a maximum grant of $20 million.
Co-contribution: Applications for funding must include at least a 50% contribution ($1 Industry: $1 Australian Government).

Through this fund the Australian Government will invest $60 million nationally over 4 years to address critical gaps in Australia’s recycling infrastructure, and support advanced and innovative technologies targeting hard-to-recycle plastics.

Sustainable Finance Mechanism – Repayable Grants

The fund aimed to provide zero-interest loans for implementation-ready, community clean energy projects. The repayable grants are to be repaid within a 5-year period from cost-savings or income generated from the project.
