Upcycling
Presenter – Trinity Mawson, Loddon Mallee Waste and Resource Recovery Group
Learn what upcycling is and be taken through a simple step-by-step demonstration that you can try yourself with a common item from around your home or school.
Trinity will also share some inspiring examples of what could be possible with time and a high level of skill. You'll also get an opportunity to take on a design challenge!

Water everywhere

Water, water, everywhere…
Water is often invisible in our lives, and it is a scarce resource. Our agricultural system requires the majority of humanity’s water usage for food and clothes.
We will examine how our choices can reduce individual consumption of invisible water, and how long it would take for a single person to drink the volume of an Olympic pool!
