The ResourceSmart School Awards is Victoria’s largest sustainability celebration for primary and secondary school students, teachers and school volunteers taking remarkable sustainability action.
The 2023 theme is Achieving great things – no action is too small. The Awards celebrate our young people and schools leading the way on sustainability, creating real impact for Victorian communities beyond the school gate.
The 2023 Awards will honour winners and finalists in the following categories:

Dr Ann Jones is a journalist and presenter with an engaging and energetic approach to live events. She has the ability to observe the unusual and tell stories in sensitive and creative ways.
She specialises in creating a strong connection with topics and can command a large
audience with agility and flexibility, a skill she developed after years of daily live radio
Dr Ann Jones can be heard across Australia on ABCs RN, showcasing the best of nature,
adventure and scientific research on her weekly program, Off Track as well as her latest
podcast What The Duck! uncovering nature’s weirdness.
This premier event is by invitation only with all finalists, event sponsors, 5-Star Schools, delivery partners (CERES, Environment Education Victoria, and Eastern Alliance for Sustainable Learning), and government, state ministers and industry leaders in sustainability. The event will also be livestreamed.
