Victoria's generation of biomass residues have been modelled for the Australian Biomass for Bioenergy Assessment (ABBA) project. Funded by the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) the project seek so to drive investment in bioenergy. The data has been modelled based on ABS agricultural commodity data areas and production (Agricultural Census data), National Pollutant Inventory (NPI) databases, and data collected from SV Local Government Annual surveys. All datasets are available for information purposes only. No claim is made as to the accuracy or authenticity of the data at any time.
Data is updated as new ABS datasets, and information on individual commodity residue generation are made available. Please refer to the AREMI website for further information on individual biomass residues data and for overlays with other infrastructure.
