The $1 million Victorian Litter Plan was announced by the Victorian Government in October 2015.

The Plan is a key action of the Victorian Waste Education Strategy and comprises four programs:

The plan will build the capacity and capability of state and local government, land managers and other stakeholders to address litter and illegal dumping issues. It focuses on engaging the Victorian community in activities that are targeted, measurable and evidence-based.
