We’re delighted to announce the fabulous finalists in this year’s Premier’s Sustainability Awards.
Across ten categories, this year’s group includes a passive house extension of a heritage-listed museum; a social enterprise that runs an e-waste business; a country primary school that has become ambassadors for their threatened local brolga; a large water organisation that partners with Aboriginal clans in a collaboration of deep cultural and environmental respect; a campaign to encourage Australians to use bubbles instead of balloons at outdoor events; an online marketplace for quality surplus food products; and a large international retailer that has gone above and beyond in achieving positive sustainability outcomes instore and in community.
With more entries in this year’s Premier’s Sustainability Awards than ever before, finalists continue to demonstrate their commitment in a range of innovative and inspiring ways.
Congratulations to all finalists for their ingenuity and hard work. Winners will be announced at the Premier’s Sustainability Awards ceremony to be held at The Forum in Melbourne on Thursday 11 October. Tickets are now on sale.
