Compare models with the same star rating by using the numbers on the water and energy efficiency rating labels. You can save money off the running costs with every extra star:
- 30% on dishwashers
- 25% on washing machines and dryers
- 20% on TVs and fridges.

Getting advice on the best appliances has now become much easier with the Smarter Choice Retail Program. Each partnering store has trained retail sales staff that can advise you about the water and energy efficiency of the appliances available in store.
