Neighbourhood Renewal Projects
Neighbourhood Renewal is a Victorian Government program working in partnership with communities in areas with concentrations of public housing. The program aims to improve community infrastructure and create vibrant places where people want to live.
The Sustainability Fund supports sustainability projects in Department of Human Services Neighbourhood Renewal areas. Two funding rounds have been completed:
Round One
- City of Wyndham - Werribee Neighbourhood Renewal: Fit Start Heathdale Glen Orden Wetlands
- City of Greater Bendigo - Long Gully Neighbourhood Renewal: Linear Park Improvement
- Parks Victoria - Eaglehawk Neighbourhood Renewal: Jobs Gully Natural Features Reserve
- Colac Otway Shire - Lake Colac Neighbourhood Renewal: Lake Colac Improvement Linkage Project
- City of Casey - Doveton Neighbourhood Renewal: Eumemmerring Creek Parklands Project
Round Two
- Cultivating Community - Collingwood Neighbourhood Renewal: Low Food Miles, Community Fruit and Vegetable and Community Education Hub
- Darebin City Council - East Reservoir Neighbourhood Renewal: Environmentally Sustainable Design for Community Gardens
- Broadmeadows Disability Services - Broadmeadows Neighbourhood Renewal: Broadmeadows Environment, Enterprise and Education Project (BEEEP)
- City of Casey Myuna Farm - Doveton Neighbourhood Renewal: Students Leading Sustainable Communities
- Banyule City Council - Heidelberg West Neighbourhood Renewal: Malahang Reserve Re Cycle Workshop
- Enterprising Communities - Delacombe Neighbourhood Renewal: Water Energy Auditing and Materials Recovery Project
- Bendigo Access Employment Inc - Eaglehawk Neighbourhood Renewal: The Bright Street Enterprise Hub
