Round One Supported Projects 2004 

$6.9 million for sustainability projects in Victoria

The first round of the Sustainability Fund supported 26 projects and provided $6.9 million in funding to schools, community groups, businesses, local government and industry.

Projects supported by the fund cover a range of sustainability issues such as; recycling in high rise housing estates, recycling tennis balls, reducing waste from building sites, environmental management in small business and car sharing in the inner city.

Projects cover four areas:

• Waste and water
• Behaviour change and community engagement
• Climate change
• Leadership
