We work with councils around Victoria to provide sustainable services and facilities for residents. Programs include:

• Best practice kerbside recycling
  Assisting local governments with improving kerbside recycling for householders across Victoria.
  
• Public place recycling guidelines
  Guidelines to contribute to a consistent standard in public place recycling in Victoria.
  
• Green purchasing
  Developments for green purchasing in Local Government sectors.
  
• Tracking energy use for local government
  Track utility accounts including electricity, gas, water, vehicle usage and public lighting.
  
• Detox Your Home Communications Kit
  Promotional materials for councils to inform residents of upcoming Detox Your Home collections.
  
• Surveys of waste and recycling services
  Access for council waste management officers to fill in the annual surveys of waste and recycling services.
  
• Sustainability Initiative 
  We are proud to sponsor LGPro's Sustainability Initiative.
  
• Sustainable Public Lighting
  Information and resources to accelerate the uptake of sustainable public lighting are available at the Sustainable Public Lighting Toolbox website.
  
• Triple Bottom Line Capacity Building Program
  Sustainability Victoria is partnering with ICLEI Oceania to build the capacity for local governments to deliver economic, social and environmental outcomes.
  
• Sustainability Accord
  Round three funding has now commenced and is open to councils who have signed the Accord. Partnership projects involving multiple councils and other stakeholders are encouraged to apply.
