The Victorian Litter Innovation Fund (the Fund) provides support for the Victorian community, including government, business, not-for-profit organisations, social enterprises and schools, to fund innovative approaches that prevent and reduce the impact of litter and illegal dumping. The $700,000 fund is a component of the Victorian Litter Plan.
Organisations are eligible to apply for grants of up to $20,000 for innovative solutions to litter and illegal dumping that are delivered through a partnership approach. Projects must have at least three or more of seven elements of the Victorian Litter Action Alliance (VLAA) best practice model for litter prevention.
Round 2 includes a two stage competitive, merit-based application process:
- Stage 1 is an Expression of Interest (EOI) process – where EOIs must be submitted by 3.00 pm on Monday 3 October 2016.
- Stage 2 will involve shortlisted projects from the EOI process being invited to submit a full application by 3.00 pm on Monday 5 December 2016*.
