Sustainability Victoria recognises the challenges facing many Victorian businesses in accessing information, advice, and on-site support to understand the benefits of energy and materials efficiency. A key finding from businesses participating in Sustainability Victoria’s resource efficiency programs (see below), is that businesses learn from the experience of other businesses, and that business networks are a great way to share information.
A number of business networks across Victoria are planning resource efficiency events tailored to their members’ needs which highlight local ‘champions’, and demonstrate ways to reduce operational costs, environmental impacts, and save money.
The following business networks will have resource efficiency events in 2016:
- East Gippsland Food Cluster
- Portland Manufacturing, Assemble, & Design Engineering Network
- South Gippsland Manufacturing Network
- Hume Business Champions Network
