Keep Victoria Beautiful
On 1 July 2015 Keep Victoria Beautiful (KVB) – formerly Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria – regained its independence and resumed directly delivering its awards and volunteer programs.
KVB and SV have delivered the Stationeers and Adopt a Roadside volunteer programs and the Tidy Towns and Sustainable Cities Awards in partnership since 2009. In the past six years, over 87% of Victoria’s local councils have participated in the KVB awards, and more than 1.5 million Victorian volunteers have given up their time to improve the appearance of their local community.
Sustainability Victoria’s CEO Stan Krpan said the six-year partnership between the two organisations has delivered a host of popular community programs and that together we have had great success in improving the sustainability of our urban, regional and rural communities thanks to our partnerships with local government, schools, and communities.
“SV has enjoyed working in partnership with KVB and wishes them all the best for the future,” Mr Krpan said.
