The Victorian Government today announced almost $240,000 for a world first coal drying project in Bacchus Marsh to be built by Environmental Solutions International (ESI).

19 June 2006 - Victorian first for Footscray laundry
The Bracks Government has provided over $22,000 to a Footscray laundry to install and demonstrate ground breaking water heating technology never used before in Victoria.
The State Member for Footscray, Bruce Mildenhall, said today the technology, known as direct contact water heating, will use 15 per cent less energy than conventional hot water systems.
